Applications are invited for the post of Senior Lecturer in International Migration within the Department of Geography and the Centre for Migration Policy Research in the College of Science, reference 5743.
In the latest UK Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008), 95% of the Department’s research was judged to be of international quality, 60% was regarded as world-leading (4*) or internationally excellent (3*), and International Migration was identified as an area of world-class activity.
The post holder will be an integral part of the Department of Geography and Swansea University’s Centre for Migration Policy Research (CMPR). The post holder will have a strong publication record, evidence of sustained policy engagement, and a proven capacity to secure research funding. The successful applicant will also have demonstrated a commitment to high-quality teaching at all levels, and a vibrant and superb student experience.
